Privacy policy for CommerceOS.
Effective date: July 4, 2026. This page is production-ready in structure but should be reviewed by legal counsel before public launch.
1. Information we collect
CommerceOS collects account details, merchant profile information, team user data, customer records, product data, order activity, payment records, shipment records, and operational telemetry needed to secure and improve the service.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide the service, secure merchant workspaces, support onboarding, troubleshoot incidents, monitor product health, and communicate updates related to the platform.
3. Data isolation and security
CommerceOS is designed with merchant-scoped tenant isolation, access control, request tracing, and audit-ready operational patterns. No system is perfectly secure, but we aim to apply reasonable safeguards across product, infrastructure, and support workflows.
4. Retention
We retain data for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain operational continuity unless merchants request deletion where supported.
